The Burford Lodge Guest House is located in the seaside village of Ardglass in County Down, Northern Ireland. With lovely sea views from our front rooms, you can relax and watch the local fishing boats coming and going and if you’re lucky you might spot our friendly local seals. We are close to some fantastic, award-winning local restaurants, Currans of Chapeltown (2 miles) and Aldo’s Italian just a walk away.

7 miles takes you to Downpatrick where you can explore St. Patrick’s History, do some shopping and relax with some coffee in the bustling town.

The area between the Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains is central to many activities from fishing, and sailing from the new marina on the doorstep of the Burford to international motorsport at Bishopscourt Race Track less than three miles away. Most evenings the Ardglass fishing fleet can be seen coming home and with many pubs and eating places in the village, a varied and enjoyable stay can be enjoyed.
