Historic Town of Downpatrick
Only 7 miles from Ardglass is Downpatrick where St. Patrick’s burial site is reputed to be. The St. Patrick’s Visitor Center and tourist information offers visitors an interactive exhibition, craft shop and restaurant. The Down Museum is a must when visiting Downpatrick to explore the former Gaol and history of the region.
